Crundale is a village some mile and a half to the north of the county town of Haverfordwest, and is approached along the Haverfordwest to Cardigan B4329 road.  It is a vibrant  village  with good community spirit and several  established organisations to enable residents to participate in.  It is an expanding area with continual development and boasts a village Post Office and chapel. It has an active Community Association who have the responsibility of managing and the running of the hall and adjoining facilities.

Crundale and the surrounding area has several historical features and at one time also had it’s own village school.

Y Neuadd

The hall is situated on the village playing field and was officially opened in August 1995. Since then an extension was built which now makes it an attractive venue for hiring. It has a fully fitted kitchen with facilities for the preparation of meals. It has a main hall and also a separate for hiring committee room,which has recently been re-designed to provide a larger and more comfortable facilty. The main hall has a seating capacity of 100 and 240 standing. It is equipped with ample tables and chairs, crockery  and cutlery for 100 + placings .The Association which has responsibility for the management of the hall is a registered charity (No. 519529). The hiring charges are sessional – morning, afternoon, evening or all day and are variable depending on the type of hire, and are available together with conditions for hire from the hall  hiring officer The charges levied  are inclusive of all available facilities. The hall also has a music and dancing licence each day from 9.00 a.m. to midnight.

Adjoining the hall is a large playing field and a well  equipped  and regularly maintained children’s play area and which has a portaloo toilet facility during the summer months from Easter school holidays to the end of the Summer school holidays.

Additionally  on the main playing field there is a tarmaced enclosed multi use games area which can be played on throughout the year.

Further there is a community garden area with bench tables and other seating making it ideal as a picnic area.

All these external facilities are freely accessible to the public throughout daylight hours.
