Begelly is a village and parish in south Pembrokeshire, 4.3 miles north of Tenby. The parish includes the hamlet of Thomas Chapel and has a web of small settlements associated with the 19th century anthracite mining industry.
The Hall
The 13th Century church is one of Pembrokeshire’s hidden gems, yet with Pembrokeshire’s tallest church tower it’s not that well hidden. The church is a Grade 2 listed building and is a focal point of the community greeting hundreds of thousands of tourists at the gateway to Pembrokeshire every year.
In the last couple of years, Begelly Church Hall has undergone a major renovation, with a new Kitchen, disabled toilets, improved lighting and heating and resurfacing of the car park.
