The Hall
The Old School at Dinas Cross was generously gifted to the people of Dinas Cross by the Barony of Kemaes, who in the 19th Century, originally gave the land to the community of Dinas Cross to build a school. It is now administered by Trustees and run by an elected Management Committee. Yr Hen Ysgol is the centre for the community of Dinas, the heart of our village and is available for a wide range of activities. The main hall is licensed for events up to 100 people and there are two other meeting rooms available for hire such as the Garn Fach meeting rooms. The room accommodates 12 people comfortably round the table. Extra tables and chairs are available for use, this room has direct access to the kitchen. The hall also has another room available to hire the Garn fawr meeting room. This room has recently been updated to include it’s own kitchen facility with new kitchen units having been installed and includes mugs, plates and cutlery.
